week 3

I have gotten my showers down to 7 minutes while also taking them colder than I did before. I have been able to do this every time I have showered since we started the project. I would be pretty likely to continue this habit even if the project ended today based on how much water, time, and money I save just by this basic habit change. It also helps the environment by saving water that we can see being used in other areas on the map₂. Around the first ten days, it was pretty easy to take shorter showers without thinking about it. Since it wasn't a super large change it took a shorter time to get used to than the article predicted₁. The article makes me just as likely to continue my habit as I was before I read it. It is important for people to know its hard to change big habits in the 21 days even if that's what they have heard.
